Itinerary
Arrive at Colombo Airport at 0930 hrs and proceed directly towards Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka nestled amidst scenic hills and lush greenery. Optional breakfast or lunch can be enjoyed enroute. Upon arrival in Kandy, check in to the hotel and relax amidst the peaceful hill surroundings.
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, one of Sri Lanka’s most loved wildlife attractions established in 1975 to care for abandoned and injured elephants. Witness the feeding and bathing sessions where elephants are taken to the nearby river, creating a memorable wildlife experience for visitors.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Kandy, one of Sri Lanka’s most sacred and historic cities. Visit the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha and is one of the most revered Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. Continue to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, spread across 147 acres with thousands of exotic trees, orchids, palms, and tropical plants. Later, explore the gem and lapidary museum and enjoy a traditional cultural dance performance in the evening.
After breakfast, drive towards Bentota, one of Sri Lanka’s most popular beach destinations known for its golden beaches, water sports, and tropical atmosphere. Upon arrival, check in to the resort and relax. Evening is free to enjoy the beach and peaceful coastal surroundings.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing covering the historic Galle Fort, famous for its colonial architecture and coastal views. Later, visit a Turtle Hatchery conservation center and enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Madhu River through mangrove forests and island villages. Guests may also enjoy optional water sports activities in Bentota including jet skiing, parasailing, windsurfing, and more.
After breakfast, proceed towards Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Evening is free for leisure or exploring the vibrant city atmosphere.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Colombo covering major attractions including Fort Area, Pettah Market, Sea Street, Dutch Church of Wolfendhaal, Kelaniya Buddhist Temple, Davatagaha Mosque, BMICH, Independence Square, and several colonial-era landmarks. Colombo beautifully combines modern city life with rich colonial history and cultural diversity. The remaining day is free for shopping and leisure activities.
