Upon early morning arrival at Chandigarh railway station / airport, direct transfer to Manali enroute visit Kullu / Manikaran (diversion of 30 km one way ex Kullu – 03 hrs).

Manali lies on the banks of the river Beas in Kullu which is ever so often referred to as ‘The Valley of the Gods’. Kullu is an important district of arguably one of the most serene and bountiful states of Himachal Pradesh in North India. An ancient trade route originated in Manali, leading to Ladakh and there on over the Karakoram Pass to Yarkand and Khotan. This is the land of eternal snow peaks, where plains of the Indian subcontinent give way to the majesty of the Himalayas. Kullu Valley leads to Manali, which is the indisputable adventure playground of the Indian Himalayas. Time magazine featured Manali among ‘Best of Asia’ for its ‘Extreme Yak Sport’. North of Manali lays the Rohtang Pass, which is the gateway to Leh, Lahaul and Spiti.

Full day excursion to Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel (Subjected to weather conditions), The Solang Valley undoubtedly one of the most spectacular and impressive valleys of Himachal Pradesh. 9 km away from Manali is Solang Valley. It is from Beas Kund which is the source of river Beas and this is the same spot where Manarani Ved Vyas wrote the famous epic Mahabharata. It is said Solang valley was the route taken by Pandavas to Heaven. At the Solang valley an ice Shivling is formed during winters which is said to be taller than the Shivling formed at Amarnath. Besides being a picture postcard perfect Solang Valley is the place where the slopes are ideal for paragliding and skiing. Best adventure routes and treks start from this area.
Optional Rohtang Pass: Enjoy optional Adventure Activities including Skiing and Tube Slides, Snow Scooter and Santa Snow Sledge Rides Enroute visit - Nehru Kund, Kothi Gorges, Gulaba, Rahla Water Falls and Rani Nallah.
Evening return to Manali for overnight stay.

Today we can visit various important sights of Shimla including Shimla's popular Mall Road, the colonial buildings of Peter Hoff, the Vice Regal Lodge, Gorton Castle, Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple, Shimla highest point at Jakhoo hill, Mashobra nature resort, Tattapani – hot sulphur spring, Telegraph Office, Gaiety Theatre, Christ Church and infamous Scandal Point.
Later part explore the ski destination of Kufri (18 km/45 minutes), Kufri has lured mountain lovers for decades. The slopes are not for professionals, but the short to advanced runs are tailor-made for the enthusiast. Yak rides for children are an added attraction. Later visit the former capital of the Maharajah of Patiala, Chail is built on three hills and is about 45 kilometres from shimla. The cricket pitch here is the highest in the world. The old palace and the polo grounds are worth a visit.

If time permits, visit to Rock Garden, The world-acclaimed Rock Garden, dotted with sculptures created from scrap materials and unusual rock formations, is Chandigarh’s pride. Created from discarded concrete and tiles, this unique garden spreading over 64 acres showcases urban art and offers a quiet spot to relax. Created in the 1970’s by artist Nek Chand it is indeed a fascinating amalgam of nature’s marvels and man’s creativity. Sukhna Lake, The 3 sq kms manmade Sukhna Lake is an idyllic retreat for a communion with nature. The pretty Zakir Rose Garden, named after India’s illustrious former President Dr. Zakir Hussain, is Asia’s largest rose garden. Spread over 27 acres, it is dotted with more than 17,000 rose bushes embracing 1,600 species and dramatic colour fountains.
